STOCKTON, Mo., March 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Hecate Energy has appointed PEC Construction Management (“PEC“) to provide on-site construction representation services for Sunfish Solar 2, the first project in Hecate’s 1-gigawatt portfolio in Calhoun County, Michigan. Once completed, the state-of-the-art solar facility will provide enough green electricity to power approximately 69,000 Michigan homes.
Under a build transfer agreement with Consumers Energy, the project is a significant step in Consumers Energy’s journey toward bringing 8,000 MW of solar online by 2040.
