Softrock Minerals Ltd. Reports that the Hon. Nicholas Taylor Has Passed Away

Calgary, Alberta–(Newsfile Corp. – October 7, 2020) – Softrock Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: SFT) (“Softrock”).  The Board of Directors of Softrock is sad to announce the passing of a Founder and long-time Chairman President and CEO: The Hon. Nicholas William “Nick” Taylor left us on Saturday, October 3, 2020. He remained involved and engaged with Softrock through his last months; always the geologist and avid dealmaker.

As a founder of Softrock in 1993, he was widely respected in the business and oil and gas field, and led a number of exploration initiatives across the country. He served as a mentor to numerous emerging entrepreneurs. And he will be missed by his many contemporaries in the energy industry.

Stuart McDowall was recently appointed the Chairman of the Board of Softrock.
